By plane

If you prefer not to hire a car, buses run to the city centre every half hour. PESA operates routes from Bilbao, while FlixBus and Alsa offer connections from Biarritz.

By train

The train can be a convenient option for those travelling from Madrid, as the station is in the city centre. The journey takes around 5 hours from Chamartín station.
